Dress codes for the Degree Recipients of the 20th Convocation

(a) White Kurta and Pyjama for boys

(b) White Salwar and Kameez /White Saree with orange border and white/orange blouse for girls.

Students have to arrange it on their own. Institute will provide convocation robe as usual

NOTICE

The XX Convocation of the Institute through Physical Mode will be held on 04.11.2022 in lieu of 02.11.2022. This is for information to all the students (UG/PG/PhD) who have successfully completed the course and are eligible to receive their degree in the ensuing 20th Convocation of NIT Silchar that they are to register by filling the Online Registration form available under the link http://convocation.nits.ac.in/

The PhD students should pay a non-refundable Registration fee of Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand only) through SBI Collect. Further, in case any UG/PG/PhD student is accompanied by an additional person (parent/guardian,etc.) and willing to participate in the Pre-Convocation Dinner should pay an amount of Rs. 250/- per person.

It is mandatory to fill the online form & complete the procedure for obtaining the degree certificate.

Steps for online payment

State Bank collect. (SB Collect) Accept and proceed.

State of Institute>Assam.

Type of Institute>Educational Institute>Go.

Educational Institutions Name>Select Online fee collection account NIT Silchar for fees payment>select Payment Category (Any Other Fee)>Remarks (Fee for Convocation 2022) and fill the required field and submit.

Last date of submission of form is 15th Oct 2022
